Working, learning and innovatingwith AI in the Hague region.
The Hague Applied AI Campus (HAAI) aims to give a powerful boost to the digital and societal resilience of the Hague region, by making residents, students and workers AI-skilled and by embedding AI responsibly in education, work and society. In a time when AI is fundamentally changing our economy, labour market and society, we are building a regional knowledge infrastructure for applied and responsible use of AI together with mbo, hbo and wo.

Why HAAI?
The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) is fundamentally changing our society and economy. Residents, professionals, entrepreneurs and students in the Hague region must become AI-skilled. There is a great need for collaboration, coordination and anchoring of initiatives around AI.
HAAI contributes to a society in which AI is used responsibly and practically: to improve work, make learning more accessible, and put innovation at the service of people and organisations.
We do this by bringing together education, government and business in one network. This ensures that AI knowledge and applications are available not only to experts, but to everyone who works with it or encounters it.
HAAI helps the Hague region remain digitally skilled, socially resilient and future-proof.

HAAI at TechFest January 29
This Thursday you can get to know the HAAI Campus during one of our workshops and the meetup about Education and Labor Market at the (free) TechFest of The Hague Tech. Want to know more about how we can support you and your organization with education and innovation? You can register here.
Healthcare Innovation
Leiden University and The Hague University of Applied Sciences are working in the Health Campus Den Haag on solutions for patient-centered, affordable and accessible healthcare. AI plays an important role in this. For example in the Wellzijn.AI research project. This project focuses on developing a platform, in consultation with elderly, caregivers, and other stakeholders, where step by step we look at how chatbots can support elderly care.
